More Mud & Muck

Did you miss this year’s Tough Mudder? Or are you a glutton for punishment? Either way, get yourself registered for the Swain Swamp Stomp to turn September 9th from a late-summer Saturday to an Upstate outdoor adventure! Swain Resort‘s 4-mile obstacle challenge is back and better than ever with at least 16 obstacles and a completely redesigned course. Anyone ready for a challenge is welcome, from the weekend warrior to those new to running and ready to step up their game. If your friends are willing to support from the sidelines, there’s a spectator registration available for $7 in advance or $10 the day of.

Family-Friendly Fun

The Swamp Stomp is geared toward adults, but minors are welcome to participate if they’ll be running with an adult. Kids 5 to 12 can face a challenge all their own with the Lil Stompers Challenge. That race starts at 12:30, but kids should be at Swain by noon to sign in. Registration for the Lil Stompers Challenge is just $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event.
