Activity Guide: College Town Shopping

February 2015

We’ve told you about College Town before.  You remember, it’s that fabulous new district less than five minutes by car from Elmwood Manor Apartments.  It’s snuggled conveniently into the intersection of Mount Hope Ave and Elmwood Ave.  The last time we talked up the area, we highlighted the dining and drinking options it presented to visitors.  Well, there’s more to College Town than that!

First of all, it boasts a two-floor, 20,000 sq. foot Barnes and Noble.  That’s a whole lot of books!  Speaking of 20,000 sq. feet, that’s also the size of the incredible Constantino’s Market that can be found there.  Need fresh produce, meats, and seafood, as well as a vast array of everything else?  That’s your grocery store!

But College Town also has stores and businesses that will help improve your life physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  First of all, GNC has all of the vitamins and minerals, herbal supplements, and other health and wellness products you could ever want!  And then there’s breathe yoga studio, born right here in Rochester (Pittsford, to be exact).  There, you’ll find inner peace and relaxation for the mind, body, and soul.  And finally, if you just need to get away from it all (remember, sometimes a change is good, even when it’s a change from something great), head on over to Bean Cruises and Travel.  They’ll help you plan that cruise or family trip to somewhere far, far away.  But before you go there, make sure to visit College Town!
