We’ve got a lot of great sports teams and stories here in Rochester, but one of our favorites is the fact that the Buffalo Bills call our fair city home for the month of August for their training camp! Even if the Bills aren’t your favorite NFL team, it’s exciting to have a professional sports team in town, especially this year since the Bills made some pretty big off-season moves. But the absolute best part of the Bills’ presence here is that they open up their training camp almost every day to the public!

Training camp is held at St. John Fisher college, which is only a 10 minute drive from Elmwood Manor. You can see that practice schedule here. Note that there are morning and evening practices that are open to the public, but some of them require tickets. Tickets are free, but you do need to reserve them. If you’re a Bills fan, this is a must-attend. And even if you’re just a football fan, this is quite the opportunity. So head on over to St. John Fisher in August and root, root, root for the (almost) home team!
