We thought we’d end our August blog posts with a preview of an upcoming exhibition at the fabulous Artisan Works. If you’re unfamiliar with Artisan Works, it’s an amazing space that contains artwork in a vast array of mediums, and also can be rented out for parties, receptions, or other events. Oh, and it’s not even 4 miles from Elmwood Manor!

Starting on September 4th and running through January 2nd of next year, Artisan Works will house an extraordinary exhibition of work by the photographer Carl Chiarenzo. Born in Rochester, Chiarenzo is not a simple nature photographer, nor does he do classic portraits. Instead, he does abstract photography (mostly in black and white) featuring striking shapes and textures. He’s a unique talent (and one from our home town!), so the opportunity to see his work being at Artisan Works is not to be missed. Please see their website for more information.
