Area Activity Guide: Morning Run & Breakfast Club
July 2017
Are you an Early Bird?
They say those who make a habit of exercising in the morning are better at sticking with it for the long run. And forming running-buddy relationships adds an extra layer of accountability. A partnership between Rochester Running Company and Rochester Young Professionals makes it easy for local runners to enjoy all the benefits of morning run accountability, morning breakfast opportunities, and summer racing fun. They’ll host the runs, meals, and networking, so all you have to do is show up!
Join the Club!
It’s called the Breakfast Run Club Summer Series, and it features a morning run every other Tuesday between July 18th and August 29th. The 3-mile runs will start at 6:30 am at Rochester Running Company’s College Town location at 1387 Mt. Hope Avenue. Runs will be timed, but they’ll be structured as social runs rather than race-style. A light breakfast will be served and participants will have a chance to network and socialize after the workout. There’s even a collectible pint-glass set involved. Attend all four races to complete your collection!
Sign up for the full series for $35, or for individual runs at $11 apiece.
