Area Activity Guide: Open Late Tuesdays are Here at The Zoo!

Seneca Park Zoo promotional graphic

The Seneca Park Zoo is a wonderful place for people, young and old, to discover the wonders of nature and learn all about animals we might not see in our back yards (in many cases, we hope we don’t see these animals in our back yards!). With all the animal exhibits and shows there, it’s easy to spend a morning, afternoon, or even day at the zoo. Located up on St. Paul Street, it’s only a few miles from Elmwood Manor. And now, you can spend even more time there, thanks to Open Late Tuesdays!

In July and August, the Seneca Park Zoo is extending hours on Tuesdays. On those nights, the front gate of the zoo will stay open until 7:30, and visitors can enjoy the zoo until 8:30 at night! Beyond that, each Open Late Tuesday will feature a different theme or presentation that will prove enlightening, educational, and (above all else) fun! You can see the full line-up of Open Late Tuesday themes, as well as get all the information you could ever need about the program and the zoo itself, at their webpage. Go enjoy the zoo, and tell the lions we said hello!
