Sorry about continuing to write about festivals here in Rochester, but hey…they don’t call it The Festival City for nothing! Next up is the beloved Park Ave Summer Art Fest, which will be held Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd. Saturday’s festival runs from 10AM to 6PM, and Sunday’s runs from 10AM to 5PM. This is the festival’s 37th year, and it has attracted upwards of 250,000 people, according to the festival website! You can go there to get all kinds of information on this year’s plans, as well as parking and shuttle service.

We’ll be happy to give you a quick overview, though. This year there will be hundreds and hundreds of exhibitors, artists, merchants, apparently from 21 states and Canada! Of course, there will be dozens of music acts all throughout the weekend, set up all along Park Avenue (which is only about 2 miles from Elmwood Manor Apartments!). And what would Park Ave Fest be without wonderful food options? We assure you, there will be plenty. Park Ave Fest is also remarkably family-friendly, with the Science Center will be doing educational (but still fun) activities and Rock Ventures will supply a giant, inflatable climbing wall!
