Area Activity Guide: Summer Camp & Activity Fair
March 2019
The Longing-for-Summer Slump
It’s about that time of year when kids really need some motivation to power through the remainder of the school year. Give them an infusion of enthusiasm by taking them to explore the 25th Annual Summer Camp & Activity Fair (presented by ROC Parent and Kids Out & About) at Eastview Mall. This free event taking place Sunday, March 10th, from 11 am to 6 pm, features live performances and demos to help you find the perfect activities to fill your child’s summer. On display throughout the mall will be the makings of the best summer ever, as presented by camps, museums, schools, community organizations, sports clubs, performing arts organizations, and more. No matter what your child is into, he or she will find something to get excited about and look forward to as the weather warms up.
Summer Camps – Close-Up
Don’t forget to build in your own summer break. The Camp Fair is a once-a-year opportunity to visit with local and national camps — from preschool activity day camps to teen sleepaway camps. You’ll get the chance to meet organizers, counselors, and administrators in person, ask them important questions, and learn all about the programs they offer.
Don’t fall behind!
If March seems a little early for summer-camp planning, then this event was made for you! Early spring is prime time for securing your kids’ spots before these programs fill up. The more little ones you have, the more valuable this one-stop-experience-shopping opportunity will be. Where else can you let your kids choose their own adventure and nail down the whole family’s summer plans in one place?
