Interested in picking up a new hobby, taking a fitness class, or getting the kids involved in some fun new activities? Look no further than the offerings from Brighton Central School’s Continuing Education Department. Residents of Elmwood Manor Apartments are lucky enough to live within the borders of the Brighton School District – a great school for kids, but also a wonderful resource for some great adult classes.

The district just released their course catalog for the Spring and Summer. The offerings are vast, but here are a few that caught our eye:

• Women and Finance: The course aims to increase your knowledge of your current and future financial needs, and empower you to make informed financial decisions.
• The Five Tibetans: An ancient yogic practice consisting of simple but highly energizing exercises.
• Gourmet Specialty Market Tour: A guided, behind-the-scenes tour of some of Rochester’s finest gourmet markets. Chat with other foodies and sample delicious treats!
• Kindermusik with Miss Becky: A sweet music class for you and your little one (ages birth – 5). Your child will sing songs, play instruments, and make new friends.
