At Elmwood Manor, we feel that communication is the hallmark of building a community.  These days, there are so many wonderful ways to stay connected to each other.  For example, this blog is one of the methods we decided would be helpful to our residents – to keep you all informed of Elmwood news and events, as well as area happenings.  But we realize that not everyone can be online all the time, and sometimes we need to get information out to our residents as quickly as we can.  And that’s why we’re encouraging you to Get Connected!

We’re now offering an instant text messaging service to our residents.  The fact of the matter is that most of us not only have a cell phone, but have it on us most of the time.  We figured that there would be no easier or quicker way to reach you all with special alert messages, reminders, and general bulletin-type items.  Don’t worry, we won’t spam you – we just want to keep you wired into our fantastic community!  And, now we can save some trees by Going Green and printing fewer paper bulletins and notices.  The program is totally free, so please give it a try!  You can do so by texting “EMA” (without the quotation marks) to 55469 or heading over to the sign up page and filling in your information.  Come on, Elmwood!  Get Connected!
