An Open House of Opportunities

If you’ve been thinking about opening yourself up to new employment opportunities, you might want to take a long lunch on Wednesday, February 14th. From 1 to 3 pm, Recruiting on the Road is bringing its popular job fair series to the City of Rochester’s Southeast neighborhoods — to the Togetherness in Love Community center, to be exact. Recruiting on the Road is an initiative of Monroe County Workforce Development that connects local businesses and departments with talented prospects in the community.

Primed Employers

For Job Seekers, the event is an exclusive opportunity to connect with several employers all in one place. Businesses range from civil service to advanced manufacturing to health care. These companies are actively hiring, so the likelihood of on-site interviews is high. Come prepared for an interview, dress for success, and be sure to bring a few extra copies of your resume. If you’re looking for a job placement or job readiness program, Recruiting on the Road can connect you with those resources, too. The event is free and open to the public!
