Craft brewing has seen explosive growth in Upstate New York, and the world is taking notice. Rochester Real Beer Week is a celebration of brewers, brewing, and breweries from Upstate New York and around the world. The Rochester Real Beer Expo is the not-to-be-missed crowning event of Real Beer Week. More than just a beer tasting, the Expo is a street party that brings together local musicians, food vendors, and more than 100 unique craft brews. More than 50 establishments will host 2016 Real Beer Week events, including beer pairings, concerts, lawn-game tournaments, bar trivia, tap takeovers, and even a burlesque show. Grab a guide at any newsstand around town and plan your week carefully. There are more events than you can possibly visit, and plenty of them are happening conveniently close to home.
