At Elmwood Manor Apartments in Brighton, we know our residents take pride in their townhouses and apartments. We also know that home can feel stale after as long a winter as we’ve had! As you write your spring cleaning checklist, here are a few items to add that you may not have considered:

• Dust books on bookshelves
• Sort through spices and discard any that are older than a year
• Rotate your mattress and wash the mattress cover
• Discard old and expired beauty supplies
• Clean your pillows – most can be machine-washed
• This may be a great time to create a family cleaning schedule. Make a list of chores that need to be done daily, weekly and monthly, and assign tasks to each family member. Even the littlest members of your family can help out. This link has a great list of age-appropriate tasks for children.
